Course Leader, MA Graphic Branding and Identity; PhD Researcher
UAL Affiliation: London College of Communication
I work as a freelance illustrator. I have produced a wide range of work for a large number of commercial clients, including book cover design, exhibition catalogues, poster design, animation, storyboarding and editorial illustration. I have been a lead illustrator for The Daily Telegraph’s Review for a number of years. I work under a pseudonym, Wesley Merritt.
I am also a course leader in MA Graphic Branding at London College of Communication. I have worked at LCC for 7 years, and taught Graphic Design and Illustration before this. In 2019 I successfully applied to become a PhD researcher at LCC, and am currently working on a practice-based research project that looks at sketchbooks, narratives and storyworlds.
